What is Secret Project Number 36
When my
father passed in 2006, I owned a
significant share of the business. At the time, the sisters refused to recognize my
ownership. It was just as well as the sisters
headed the business towards bankruptcy by giving themselves large raises and two
months of paid vacations. When the business could no longer pay the salaries, the sisters stopped paying rent to the landowning partners. I was one of those partners. For five years, I have fought a legal battle to force the sisters to
follow the partnership agreement and buy out my share since they refused to recognize my ownership.
The joke was
when this estimated $300,000.00 comes my way, should I buy the Lamborgini or the
Ferrari. The truth is this money is my retirement, and after five years, The sister's
refusal to dissolve the partnership has left me with some staggering legal bills.
Buying an
exotic supercar was a joke but buying a toy to celebrate my victory with my siblings wasn’t.
Since I enjoy building things, why not start a new project. This will be a little more complicated than the VW powered Dune Buggy I built in the early 1970's my skill level is up to the task.
Over the years I have looked at kit cars. They are expensive; however, except for labor, he completed kits will return the investment when sold.
